Dale Lynch (302) 222-6710 |
Patricia Dale Lynch was raised in the North Carolina mountains. Prior to moving to Delaware in 1997, she was involved in the art industry as an investor. In 2003, a desire for self expression took her back to school and into the world of art. The Rehoboth Art League sparked the fire and that led to more classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Arts. Dale uses acrylics and oils to create landscapes and botanicals. Oil paints are her passion though, and she often paints in layers with very large brushes. Her work has been described as bold, graphic, and larger than life. She finds inspiration from her surroundings, and at times, from memory. Her work has been exhibited at the Rehoboth Art League, Federal Street Art Gallery in Milton, and the Milton Arts Guild. In the summer of 2006, she was invited to paint in the Gibraltar Garden in Wilmington and to include her painting of Gibraltar hostas in the Gardenscape Auction. |
